Pakistan has been undergoing a demographically-charged metamorphosis process. As compared to the neighboring nations we have a very strong youth strata. Apart from the education and motivated youth of our country, the government and many other private organizations are providing platforms for the youth to showcase their abilities.
Since the tsunami of 2005, the Pakistani youth has been seen to bring together a change for the victims and survivors of the tsunami. Without much governmental support in the beginning, the youth brought a promising difference to the tsunami victims by organizing donation and charity events where a regular man could donate to the survivors. The mobilization of the youth of Pakistan has been a proactive approach by the youth where very less organizational input was witnessed.
The mobilization and the confidence to start a movement have been inculcated by the school systems which encourage teamwork and proactive challenges. That motivates the students to work past the basic trials and to challenge the society with their specialized skills and enthusiasm. Recently the school systems have been following up on the schooling system of American and British education programs which focus more on the student’s inner inspiration rather than the study-text-knowledge. These education regimes imply that if the student is inspired from within, there is no barrier he cannot overcome.
Following with the proactive initiatives taken by the students and the youth strata, organizations such as Navitus, School of Leadership and the likes have been aggressively holding conferences to hone the skills and the enthusiasm of the youth in a productive manner. These schools also hold workshops which help the youth to figure out the various platforms which they can vouch for in order to get their voice across and their objective achieved.
