Modern Day Witch Hunt Essay

This case is considered a Witch Hunt because , the aqcusation that Trump was helped to win the election by Russian hackers with no evidence backing. This is a prime example of a modern day witch hunt. They claimed he “obstructed justice” which “A person obstructs justice when they have a specific intent to obstruct or interfere with a judicial proceeding.” This was such a big deal in politics because it was more or less the democrats pouting about election loss and from that point on people tried to say anything to try and make Trump look like he cheated the election. Now there are some decent opposition points here yet when Clintons emails were released they were actually facts and emails that were written by her and she was guilty 100%.
“President Trump not only refused to criticize Russian President Vladimir Putin, but was even friendly and accommodating in his remarks” This quote
makes no sense when i think about how they said he was tied with the russians when Putin was openly bashing Trump.
The opposing side says that there is evidence and that Trump is guilty of having ties with the Russians. Now when looking at this opposing side it really is hard to say that they are in the right ,again showing how this is a witch hunt because there are no facts other then that Trump has communicated with Putin in history. So looking and trying to comprimise with the other side the question “is Trump guilty” facts and evidence say no but emotions and disbelief say otherwise. This is why there is so much tention because both sides of this argument get so angry because one side has the facts the other is just flat out stubborness. If you step back and take a look at this situation and compare it to the Salem witch trials you see how the accusations are made it is very similar because all the girls
blamed others and the innocent because they knew it would help them and make them look like they were not at fault for issues. Once you can get past political parties and get down to the facts you see how Donald Trump was persecuted falsely and these things democrats said only came from emotion not facts. In the political activity that arouses in modern day conversations now a days tend to have more of an emotional appeal. Seeming that no one really wants an outcome which is not true it just seems this way because facts are left out and peoples feelings come out and then the conversation consists of opinions and mudslinging. So in real life things happen that are not positive for you, well sometimes you got to ask yourself ,”Can I go through this argument knowing that I am right”. It is very hard to be right 100% of the time which leads me to my next point, if you are confused about something research ,studies and facts will back you as long as you provide people with the evidence that is true untwisted and unbias. If every news channel operated on these terms the United States would not be perfect because everyone has different views however out country will atleast be educated and aware of what is going on.
