What is it that defines the culture of England? The definition culture is as objective and diverse as the term culture itself. According to the dictionary it is an accumulation of arts, beliefs, customs or a particular society that has its own beliefs, ways of thinking and behaving.
As a person who has been only once in England for just about ten hours my cultural knowledge is very limited. The only glimpse of culture for me is via the eyes of modern media. For starters we must know that culture has been changing and evolving during the past ages just like the people who live in England. Nowadays there is a wide range of different ethnical groups in England due to the colonial policy of the British Empire. The diverse alien inhibitors have brought their customs with them spicing up that cultural broth in modern England. The fact that Britain is not made by homogenous people enhances the cultural variety, creating a different and dramatic atmosphere. But England is not London in comparison with the countryside. Now I have never been there and I cant tell at first hand what is the lifestyle there but my experience from traveling abroad have told me that we are not that different after all and as the life in the countryside of Bulgaria is more reserved so it must be in England. It usually reflects the old time mentality of a nation and England is not an exception. We have all heard about the famous English eccentricity.
