Modsquad Case Study

This statement drove me to apply as a moderator for ModSquad. Reading through the philosophy and core values of this company presented a deeper connection to my passion for brand engagement using social media. In graphic design, I transform the visual facets of a brand identity into its physical and digital sense. ModSquad wove that core statement into each aspect of design and digital content of the company.

Walk through the aisles of any bookstore and glance at each book cover. You can guess the genre by key features. Genre cover designs tend to carry a common look with little change overtime. Two genres that tend to stall their change is academic and business books. An assignment required that I revamp a business book on digital business relations. I went down the middle with my concept and crafted a cover that was traditional with a bold use of color and font. Going against the
I was exposed to Asian music in college. My attention was drawn to one music group to the point I joined the staff of an international fan forum. Managing a tech support team and helping with social media engagement was my main responsibilities. Continual fandom updates meant I needed to engage with fans on all social media platforms daily. Language was a barrier for some staff members. I was motivated to learn language basic so my English responses where clear to non-native speakers. Using my wit and drive, I hope to solve any situation as a mod to help both the client and consumer win.

Working in community management, customer service, and content moderation makes me a fit for the mod culture at ModSquad. Knowing my brand identity lead me to spread that thinking to each consumer interaction whether offline or online like ModSquad has.
