Money is a good servant but a bad master
‘Money is a good servant but a bad master.’
Today, money is given more importance than education, pride, value of things. Money was created to benefit us and to system make exchange easier. Men have made money an important of their life. People are now judged according to what they earn than how learned they are. We failed to understand that what we create sometimes tends to harm us.

A person would ask as much as life and money he wants above everything else. Money cannot buy happiness but let’s you choose your own form of misery. There is a general notion that money is the be-all and end-all of everything. Until the money is be-all, it is good servant. But when it becomes end-all, it becomes a bad master. There is no doubt money plays an important role in life. A man needs money for his basic necessity such as food, shelter, clothing. It is needed by everyone and is good as long as it is under our control. But when money becomes a bad master, it invites bad habits into us, such as, gambling, drinking, smoking and doing drugs. Some people grab money by ill means and we all know that ill-gotten is ill-spent.
A person was evaluated on his moral and ethical values. It has now become the centre of everything. Money and muscle power is all that it needs to be a successful poilitician. The rich who earn a lot of money, crave for more, which they earn by hook or crook to satisfy all their wants. They fail to even look after their health. The saying ‘health is weath’ is no more heard by us. People work had, pour their blood and sweat, only to earn more money. They aim on earning more than required only to ruin their health in the process. They are the most unfortunate people in the world who fail to understand that we cannot take anything with us after death.
So it is rightly said that money is a good servant but a bad master. Let us use the money for our
