Unified as an empire, they started to conquer other cities and towns, to show their strength, religion and discipline- show themselves to the outer world. The first one was religion: When conquering all of towns and cities, Genghis Khan did not enforce his own religion into other people (shamanism) unlike other civilisations. Instead, he allowed all religions to stay and grow therefore, leaving today’s world with more religions. He left people with the freedom of will, which today is also recognised as a significant impact on people. Without his will to save all of the religions, they would be destroyed, forgotten or lost.
The second one was protecting Silk Road: When Genghis Khan established a set of rules- ‘Pax Mognolica’ it saved lots of merchants’ lives. It influenced on the whole world, as ideas and knowledge and products were protected by “barbarians”. It showed how much, Mongols wanted to communicate with other countries, learn and discover things. This also allowed other civilisations to discover each other’s cultures, religions and other. Without this tremendous impact, all the knowledge and ideas would eventually be lost, forgotten or not spread, which would result in a huge unbalance between the cultures and countries today. AND countries would not meet with each other and get to know each one’s religion, because Silk Road was the place there Europe was introduced to Asia and Middle East and the other way
