First, both stories have similarities in their themes. In both stories Bobbie and Rainsford feel haw it's like to be hunted. They both get trapped into their game and are forced to play. Throughout “Open Season” Bobbie tries to outsmart John and Paul Mulford. She tricks them to take advantage and to take them down. Then in the “Most Dangerous Game” Rainsford set up traps to weaken Zaroff and stop him. HIs first trap only hurt Zaroff. His second trap kills one of his best dogs and his third trap Kill Ivan. So the theme of both stories is that animals have feeling too.

In the “Most Dangerous Game” Rainsford was an a experience hunter. This help him to survive. Then in “Open Season” Bobbie was not an experienced hunter and she was relying on instinct. Rainsford tried to create a difficult path for him to follow. while Boobie just ran worawds voices, which ended up getting more people hurt.You can tell Rainsford is more ecperience because he stet up real amimal traps. Bobbie just tries to hurt them in anyway. In the end of the stories Rainsford saves himself and Bobbie gets saved by the FBI.
