As stated before, Mrs. Allan was a role model for Anne. She really changed Anne’s life and taught her things no one else could. Mrs. Allan showed Anne how making mistakes wasn’t as bad as Anne previously thought. She told her that when she makes a mistake, it just means that she won’t make the same one again. This bit of advice really stuck with Anne and whenever she messed up, she just thought about what Mrs. Allan said. Mrs. Allan also taught her how to be kind and how to love those who hurt her. Mrs. Allan changed Anne’s life for the better and that is why I think Mrs.Allan was a minor character who had a major importance in the book, Anne of Green Gables. …show more content…
Anne asks questions, uses frivolous words, reads like there’s no tomorrow, and studies as much as a regular-day kid watches television. Anne is kind, and she cares so much about other people. She has dreams, aspirations, and a vivid imagination. Though she cares very much about her red hair, scrawny figure, and freckles, she doesn’t let them stop her. That is why I think the author’s purpose for writing the book, Anne of Green Gables, was to inspire girls to be more than just a pretty
