Mrs. Drover In The Demon Lover
Meanwhile, Mrs. Drover in “The Demon Lover” goes through her road of trials during the recollection of past possessions and the interruption of the life changing letter. First, Mrs. Drover must recollect her belongings that she returns for. This task takes an unexpected turn as she encounters much more than she expected. She does take a few items, but she does not leave with them, therefore, she fails. The letter itself prevents her from taking everything home. Second, Mrs. Drover tries to find out who “K” is- the author of the letter. She does recollect memories of a previous lover that she suspects as the author and it becomes questionable as to if she does complete this task without failing.
