Operational Plan

Experience and leadership are important in developing and executing a multi-agency operational plan. This involves giving the Detectives, Officers, and Agents from all of the agencies assignments. It also involves guiding and directing the Detectives, Officers, and Agents at the scene to achieve the mission’s goal and to assure the safety of the officers. I have conducted and prepared 10 successful multi-agency operational plans.

Planning Steps

To develop an effective operational plan I develop the below planning steps:

• How many interviewers are needed?
• How many computer forensic examiners are needed?
• How many officers are needed for entry team?
• How many officers are needed to assist with the search and evidence collection?
• Scene photographer needed.
• Organize and complete Ops plan.

Interviews

Just like any case that we investigate, the interviews of witnesses, suspects and victims are important. However, in child exploitation cases the interview can make or break your case. Most of these cases it is unknown which occupant of the house is viewing and or dealing in the child pornography. An experienced interviewer on child exploitation cases is crucial. The
The warrant and affidavit was reviewed by King County Prosecutor Cecelia Gregson. This type of search warrant is very lengthy to write. The affidavit must contain all of the explanations of the technology used in viewing and also investigating child pornography cases. This requires an experienced detective to write the warrant and be able to explain it in its entirety to a judge and or courtroom. I have written over 25 child exploitation search
