1. Introduction and Background of Museum of Brisbane
Museum of Brisbane is one of the gallery in the Brisbane City located in the city hall. The Museum is the one which explores the vibrant living history of people including life style and exhibits the identity through exhibitions, workshops, tours, talks, Special events and MOB kids Children’s activities.
Museum of Brisbane was opened in October 2003, replacing the Brisbane city Gallery. The prime motive of Museum of Brisbane is to explore and present all about the past and future of Brisbane to the world. The administration is always eager to make the museum recognized at a national level which is crucial to preserve the culture and identity of Brisbane.

The functions of Museum of Brisbane generally focused on exhibition and different events that portray the reality of the city in the past. The museum of Brisbane is also responsible for collection of different objects that represent the whole Brisbane. To undertake the museum function requires adequate premises with a suitable environment to fulfil the basic functions inside the museum. The collections are available to all during reasonable hours and for regular periods with appropriate standards to ensure the health, safety, and accessibility of its visitors and personnel.
