Dear Jennifer Faulk,
From: alejandrinagraves@gmail.com
I have a new product that I can’t wait for you to see. It is the new prototype for everything that involves music from now until decades upon decades of time. This new item will be called an iPod. You can store over thousands of hours of music in this device. There are capital resources I need to complete this to sell on the market. We need Micron, Samsung,
Toshiba and Asahi Glass to make the screen and body for the iPod touch. I well will contact the electronic department to get the memory, battery, and all the other needed things to complete it. The reason way why I’m selecting to communicate through this channel which is electronic, is because that’s how everyone is communicating now in days now a days and we as a company need to capitalize on the chances that’s given to us. Emailing letters’ by hand to mail is a faded out? Thing to do these days and we are targeting teens so this is the right way to do so. Email me back I will wait on your feedback. You’re Your Employee,

The first generation iPod was one of the first mobile devices that a consumer could carry around comfortably. Before this, the bulky, disc-shaped Sony Walkmen dominated the market, requiring the user to have to go out of his way to purchase a CD and needing to change the CD in the event that he wanted to listen to a different album. Like changing a lens on a DSLR camera, it was impractical and time consuming. Therefore, Steve Jobs created the iPod, a mini personal computer that could hold music on a small device that allowed the user to switch from song to song easily, reducing the weight of the music kit and the time needed to change the song. The iPod also paved the path for the future of all mobile downloading through the creation of iTunes, a service still widely used today. The first generation iPhone was, perhaps, the most revolutionary piece of technology of the 2000s, bringing to the table a microprocessor, a touch screen, an iPod, a camera, a television, a telephone, a web browser, and a calculator all in a singular package. Before this phone, other phones used a trackpad or a stylus as means of interacting with the device. Consequently, losing or breaking the tool resulted in a useless piece of technology, in addition it the bulk of having to carry around another pen only for a phone. Steve Jobs aimed to ameliorate the situation by using a…

Imagine, if you will, a world where we are told what music to sing, what music to play, and even what we may listen to in the privacy of our own homes. That world already exists as a reality in more countries that you might imagine, and that very reality is knocking on our door: In the USA, lobbying groups have succeeded in keeping popular music off the concert stage, out of the media, and off of the shelves.…

Likewise, more people are listening to music because it has become so accessible. Technology has undoubtedly changed the music industry and is perhaps the main reason why individuals no longer consume an entire album. Previously, people were required to buy an entire album or CD even if they only wanted a few specific songs. With new technological advancements, music consumption has become more fragmented. Individuals can instead purchase their favorite song by each artist while eliminating all others from their collection. Due to technological advancements such as the Internet, there is now a wider variety of music because a greater diversity is more accessible. An individual no longer has to leave his house and drive down the street to a store to purchase music. Instead, he can sit at home or in his office and download his favorite tune with a few clicks of his computer or mobile device. The consumer also has the ability to listen to music without purchasing it. Today, individuals can do this by using online host…

The Amazon MP3 store has provided a place for music lovers to find new music as well as provide a digital storage space for all new purchases. One of the best features is “Customers can now store all of their Amazon MP3 purchases for free in Cloud Drive,” (Amazon.com, Inc., 2011). The Cloud Drive helps to ensure safety of purchases as well as the continued availability of the MP3 regardless of any hardware malfunction. By allowing access to the Cloud Drive in a native application for both Android and Apple products over 35 million Americans can buy new music and stream it anywhere there is an Internet connection. Amazon’s MP3 store also includes the ability for users to comment on albums and songs. By having first-person reviews by ordinary music lovers, Amazon has taken out some of the guesswork on whether or not to make new music purchases. On the front page of the Amazon MP3 store there is a promotion section specifically for new artists. The “Artists on the Rise” section includes recommendations based on similar…
