My Ability To Play Soccer
Soccer is a sport that is played globally among people. Over 24 million Americans play soccer today. Soccer is my special talent that I have been developing every year since I was six years old. I have improved and developed my skills by practicing at home, going to soccer training, and by playing in games against other teams. I have used these skills mostly in my games and when playing with my brother.
As a result of playing soccer I knew I was going to have to practice hard to become better. That is why everyday I juggle the ball as long as I can. This will help my ball-feet coordination and will increase my dribbling skills so that I will be able to maneuver past opponents in games. Other times I will do soccer drills with my brother; therefore, he can help me out. We set up miniature soccer goals in our backyard to do some passing and shooting drills. Another drill I do at home to increase my passing accuracy is passing the ball to the wall and receiving it back. If I pass the ball in the center accurately, the ball will come back, but if I inaccurately pass the ball then it would bounce off the wall in a different direction, such as when I passed the ball in an angle and it bounced off the wall and hit my car. To become even better at soccer every player must practice and develop their

Twice a week I would go to Own Touch Soccer to learn new techniques and improve my skills. The coaches there perfected my shooting, dribbling, and passing skills until the point where I now make little, minor mistakes with the ball whenever I pass the ball to my teammates or dribble past another player. I would even have my own private coach come to my house every week for an hour and give my tips on my techniques. He would tell my tricks such as pointing my toe at the goal when shooting to maximize my shooting accuracy. My soccer coaches were a big part in my training to be an excellent soccer

When I was ten years old I tried out for my local travel soccer team. I did not expect to make it, but by some stroke of luck I did. I started playing and it was not what I was expecting. In the past I averaged a hat trick every game, but travel soccer was a lot different. I started playing defense, but that might be an overstatement, because I did not get a whole lot of minutes. I knew that if I wanted to play more I was going to have to put in more work outside of practice. I started practicing everyday switching from running, to foot skills, to agility training. I probably spent more time complaining about it and there were a few time that my parents had to push me to practice, but I knew that I had to put in the work.…

Initially, my understanding of soccer was very minimal compared to what the coach, Ahmad, had to teach us. I saw the game of soccer from a brand new perspective after practicing with him. General terms like “man-to-man” and “wing cross”, both widely known among soccer players, were very new to me. Coach Ahmad also had special code words like “the three eagles” that he gave to different plays, that way we could communicate loudly with the other players without the opponents figuring out our strategy. As we met more and more each week, my teammates and I began to get used to the new vocabulary and methods of practice, strategies we were not familiar with, which helped our team interact with each other to strengthen our inner spirits. After only a few weeks, most players had gained a large amount of experience and their soccer skills had drastically improved. We had all become a discrete soccer team ready to begin the school’s private league.…

Another step to learning to play soccer is having good ball control. In soccer, ball control is everything; you will never be a good soccer player if you do not learn to control the ball. Learning to control the ball will be one of the most difficult tasks you will encounter while learning to play soccer. It will also be time consuming, but you must be patient and dedicated because this is an arduous objective. When you are approaching this feat I recommend juggling the ball, which is maintaining the ball in the air for as long as possible. This exercise will help you trap the ball when you are in a game. For example, players sometimes kick the ball away from the danger zone, so if the ball goes to you, you must trap the ball. If you do not trap those balls in the air you will pretty much be the laughing…

Soccer is one of the most popular sports in America. Soccer for beginners is almost the same rules as for the pro’s, but it’s less hard, they’re harder on the adults because obviously they are older and they can play soccer better than a kid. For beginners you have to have all of your equipment ready. You need to start slowly with something easy to begin with, always go your pace, don't ever just start with something you can't do because you could hurt yourself. “Some people start off with basic ball skills” which is just passing the ball, learning how to pass it where you want it to go, and on how to kick it.…
