The Importance Of Soccer

And from that very moment, I realized that soccer isn’t just a sport to me. It’s bigger than that. Soccer has given me many things in life, as well as the ability to collaborate with the people around me, make friends, have good sportsmanship, and practice hard to reach my goals.
Soccer is a sport that I have been playing for many, many years. Through these long, tiring practices, and close-wins, I have learned so much. Now, you may think that a girl this shy in the classroom may not have confidence on the field, but, you would be wrong. On the soccer field, I feel brave, confident, and I feel as if I can make anything happen when I have the ball. In fact, in the five years that I have been playing soccer, the biggest thing that it has taught
me is how to be confident with anything I do. People just assume after seeing me that I’m a quiet, shy girl, that just reads alone at home in her free time. But I’m not. i’m different on the field. I’m aggressive, fierce, fast. I’m not someone who spends time just sitting around the house painting. My heart has fire inside of it. A fire that only burns when I play soccer.
