My Biblical Worldviews

As a parent I am responsible to ensure that my child has the proper education to allow for them to have the opportunity to excel in life. As an educator I am entrusted to ensure that students are using those opportunities for learning. In both roles I rely heavenly on the educational policies set in place to allow for students to get the best education possible. I put my trust in the educational system that the leaders in the federal, state, and local levels understand their roles and responsibilities and use them in an effective and responsible way. My biblical worldviews have me prioritizing what matters most in dealing with education, its’ policies, and those leaders involved in education. I hope that my beliefs are applied in the policies,
As Christians, we can be part of the greater good in the in the community, show kindness, promote fairness, and act in the ways that would make God proud. There are others that could also dishonor God, disturb the communities, and corrupt God’s world. We must look to take part in the work of our Lord and contribute in the growth of restoration as we join together to make the world a better place. In the Bible it talks about how when we acknowledge God in all of what we do that his guidance is established. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight”
We start by looking at the background of education as what policy is and where it came from. According to Fowler (2013), policy is defined as: public policy is the dynamic and value-laden process through which a political system handles a public problem. Politics is an important part of the process of establishing policy and it starts with communication. Government officials communicate frequently, through campaign speeches, televised talk-shows appearances, decisions reached in hearings and reports, and on the Internet (Fowler, 2013). As we proceed to establish policy we must be aware that there are levels of communication that must take place to make sure that all of the research is done correctly to get a policy in place. When we talk about laws, they actually mean statues, which are laws enacted by legislatures (Fowler, 2013).
