My ethical perspectives have changed since I have started my educational program at the University of Phoenix. I think my ethical perspectives have opened up a lot. I know more now about learning to understand each client’s needs and how each client has different needs that need to be met. What might help benefit one client does not necessarily mean that it will benefit another. I also learn things that I did not know before that might offend a client that I might think would, for example not excepting a gift or food from someone. It is important not to offend a client because you want
them to feel comfortable around you and feel free to ask you anything if needed. This will help to best reach the client’s needs. I also learned about academic writing. My grammar and the way I format a paper is much better than I did before attending the University of Phoenix. This is really important in doing paper work and how others read my work in a way that everyone can understand. I am a little surprised about these changes. Before I felt like I was a good writer and I thought I know how to present myself to people that was not offensive to others. I understand now that I did not know as much as I thought I knew. I still think there is a lot for me to learn from experience which I hope to gain with time.
