My Favorite Piece Of Clothing Is A Dres
My favorite piece of clothing is a dress that I probably won't ever in public again. Since its way too elegant for a normal event. I love it because one it was something I had never worn before or think I'd ever wear and two it made me feel like a princess. I got it when I was 13. A good friend of ours had invited us to her wedding and I was super exited since I had never been to a wedding before. For some reason weddings had always give me an enchanting feeling that I loved. Mom had been talking to the bride on the phone for a while and mentioned that it would be my first time going to a wedding. At this she mentioned that she needed one more brides maid and would love it if I would be one. Of course I immediately accepted. The only trouble I ever had with the dress was finding it. We had gone to a tons of stores but in every store either they didn't have the right color or the right size. On top of it all we had to like the dress so it was quite stressful. Once we had finally found a store that applied these conditions we tried on dresses right away. I had so much fun trying on the dresses. In the end we finally found a good dress. I was in love with the dress. I would spend hours just looking in the mirror with my red dress. The dress was strapless, had what looked like a small twist on my waist, and unwrinkled itself as it goes down to my feet. It also had this small crystal covered flower pinned onto the side of my waist. It was unbelievably gorgeous. It was such a shame I could only wear it for a day. On the wedding day I made sure not to waste the dress and wore it proudly as I walked the aisle. I really felt like Cinderella that day since like her I could only wear the dress for small amount of time. That day was one of the many days I never want to forget. I really hope one day I can find an occasion to wear the dress again. For now I wear it occasionally in my house to feel like a princess again.

This is a very elegant looking gown. It consists of mainly different shades of purples. The bodice of the gown consists of a layer of tightly attached silk, covered in jewels and rhinestones. The top of the bodice has a bow shaped pattern attached. This draws your eyes to the top of the bodice. By having the bow on the top of the bodice the same material as the bottom of the gown, it shows how the designer has reused used materials in an effective way. The bottom of the gown is made of a purple shade of silk. Alex Perry has designed the bottom of this dress so that the layers are given with a multiple layering effect; make the gown look ‘fuller’. This photo has been taken with the layers…

The video we saw during class was interesting and it caught my attention since I can relate to what was being said. There was talk about Hispanic Americans and how each generation lived differently. But the main thing I took from the video was the idea of America being an international country; a nation of immigrants. However we must be careful to not assimilate into the masses to the point where we completely forget our heritage. It is our very heritage and culture which contribute to the country which makes our nation an international nation.…

I arrived to a church crowded with friends and family. So many people had gone to St. John’s Cathedral to witness the simple, yet elegant, tradition. There were also relatives from Mexico and Puerto Rico who took the long tiring trip to attend. I was honored to see so many people there on my special day. My court of honor led the way into the church. When it was my turn to walk down the aisle, soft music was played by the organist. I felt like a princess walking in my big, beautiful ball gown. My gown was similar to a wedding dress except it was a pastel pink. When the ceremony started it was nerve racking. I was thinking about my hair and people staring at me from behind, and hoping my tiara or…

I actually work at a dress shop and I’ve thought about how those dresses were made. Every dress company has a location where they make their dresses, like China. Each dress is handmade and takes many hours and hard work to make. I believe this is an art of craft and has high value in a woman’s world. I also own many dresses of my own from going to prom and participating in various pageants. The next time I am wearing one of these delicate dresses I am going to take a minute to think about the hard work and long hours that it took to make my dress just for me.…

The old rule was a second time bride shouldn’t wear white. In fact, it used to be that if you were marrying for a second time, the less fuss the better. Rules have changed, however, and now you can pick and choose to wear anything you want. The only rule is not to wear the dress you wore the first time. You may have spent ten thousand dollars on it, but leave it in your closet. Save it for your daughter, or donate it to a good cause. You are starting a brand new life with a brand new marriage, why wear a reminder from the past? So a good suggestion is to go with a look that’s totally different in style or even to have a different fabric from the first wedding gown.…
