My Favorite Tv Show
I love watching sitcoms. From the newest season of ‘Ugly Betty’, ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’, ‘That 70’s Show’, to ‘Scrubs’. I love watching them all. And my all time favorite sitcom would be ‘Friends’.

I think most television viewers are familiar with the show’s six main characters that live and work in New York City. Those six characters would be Chandler and Joey whom share an apartment across the corridors from the apartment shared by Monica and Rachel. The remaining two friends comprise Ross and Phoebe. Ross is Monica’s brother who has his own place, while Phoebe is full-time masseuse and a part time singer who sings the most unmelodic songs which she composes herself.

When each half-hour show starts, we hear the title song ‘I’ll Be There For You’ which is a really catchy tune. Love and friendship are the themes of the sitcom. In fact, although they might bicker with each other over some things, all six of them are wonderful friends to one another.

This friendship is sometimes complicated by the fact that Ross has always been in love with Rachel, or when Monica and Rachel fall for the same guy. However, every time one of them gets into some kind of scrape or sticky situation, the others are sure to rescue him or her.

What makes this sitcom so appealing is the cast. The actors and actresses in the show are all very good-looking and talented. Of course, the fact that ‘Friends’ has many witty scriptwriters who give the cast wonderfully clever lines to say helps a lot!

The writers also create the craziest situations for each character. For instance, Phoebe has a twin sister she absolutely loathes, while Joey who is sweet but rather a slow-witted actor sometimes finds himself at the weirdest auditions. The great chemistry all the players share with one another off-screen is evident onscreen, as they meet and chat in their coffee place called Central Perk.

Some people might say that ‘Friends’ does not depict good moral values since these

One of my favourite characters is Jesse. Despite the lack of concern from his parents, he continues to care for his family. Jesse takes Anna, his sister, to see Campbell Alexander, a lawyer, because she wants to sue her parents. He also drives his mother and sister, Kate, to the hospital when Kate is sick. Jesse is somewhat neglected in his family, which in result, he develops certain qualities. He is independent and adventurous. He is also intelligent because he teaches himself things such as making his own alcohol.…

It is definitely Seinfeld's unmatched take on life's most mundane moments that makes it a tremendously successful comedy. Seinfeld is a TV comedy often ironically referred to as "the show about nothing," which actually details the lives of four single people living in New York City. It is the cleverly written plots, snappy dialogue and crafty, genuine characters that make Seinfeld distinct from other similar TV situation comedies.…

Introduction: TV shows today are not family shows. When was the last time you sat down with your family and watched a show, without getting a little creeped out? For me that was back in the 90’s TV show from the 90’s are better family shows and have more lessons that help us all in our daily lives. And in 1996 and little family sitcom call Boy Meets World come around causing millions of kid, teens and parents to sit down and be together for thirty minutes.…

There are a lot of different kinds of friendships some more different than others. Being there for a friend is very important making sure that they're okay and that you're always going to have their back. George and Lennie are a perfect example of this, George was always there for Lennie no matter what the situation was. An example of this in John steinbeck's book “of Mice and Men” when George and Lennie were outside talking and george stated…

I have always loved this show. It had taught me a lot about growing up and what love should be like, whether it’s with friends, family or a significant other, it has also taught me what true friendship is all about, how friends should always be there for you through thin and thick. I was three years old when this sitcom first aired, so I didn’t start watching it until I was probably eight or nine, I fell in love with it and I ended up getting all of the series on VHS. Boy Meets World shows how 6th graders act and family values seeming like there isn’t even a script, it just seems so real.…

“Scandal” is an American political thriller television series, created by Shonda Rhimes. It was first aired on ABC on April 5, 2012 (Wikipedia). Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington), the main character, is based on Judy Smith, a press aide and crisis manager of the former Bush administration and founder of “Smith and company” (Wikipedia). I particularly liked this tv series because the story focuses around a strong female character who has a profound effect on “America’s most powerful man” - the US President.…
