My High School Research Paper

The failure that later led to my success was failing to get into my high school of choice. When I was in middle school, I lost my priorities and goals. My grades fell in middle school. Baltimore Polytechnic Institute(BPI) was known as the best school in Baltimore City. Both my siblings had gone to BPI and it was expected of me to attend. When I received my acceptance letter, I was put on the wait list. The deferral brought a shock to me as I just expected it to happen. That experience was the first time in my life that I realized I wasn't able to succeed with minimal effort . The feeling when I was denied made me feel insignificant.
