Well this kid is thinking about all the bad things like what if this is my last dinner, or if there will ever be school tomorrow. Well it finally hit the kid that he wanted to see his father and that he would do anything to see him well, one thought to another he turned the bad into something good.

What things would go through your mind if you were in a situation like that. Well who knows but because of the death of his fauther, and the deep love that the kid carried for him was just enough to make the end of the world worth wile. Who knows what things some kids are capable of.
Finally, just like other situations like say you are going to you friends house in billings and the day started snowing, and you had all the plans listed, then there were runed. Some poeple would just sit down and not even attempt anything at all. Well what if you could just see the good in all the bad, there's gotta be something to make it better than what it is. Also you can make anything be better than what it seems.
In conclusion, see wy can't anyone just look at the good in things, wy be negitive when you really know that you got a choice weather to be happy or not. Like if its a rainy day wy not have some fun it the rain, be positive and stay in a good state of mind. Dont let things be bad for you or make you look at them in a negative way. Try and make a bad day, a good day, no matter what the circumstances

I walked into the kitchen and spotted a turkey and prime rib, chicken, smoked ham, macaroni and cheese, corn on the cob, candy yams, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and greens. The delightful scents of turkey and prime rib, cheese, buttered corn, sweet yams, and gravy filled the air. I hear a timer go off, an oven opening, a microwave beeping, barbeques grilling, and family talking. I taste all sorts of things such as turkey and prime rib, macaroni and cheese, corn on the cob, candy yams, mashed potatoes, and greens. I touch my fork and spoon, the glass full of water, my napkin, my plate, and my food. I sight, smell, hear, taste, and touch many things during my Thanksgiving dinner.…

Growing up I didn't have the best life, I faced many challenges that I had to overcome. When I was 8 I had to start raising my siblings, it was hard but I stayed positive because I knew that this was happening for a reason and as much as I didn't wanna take care of them I had to think about them and not just myself. I was only 8, and I now realize that what I had been teaching myself all that time was to stay positive and look on the brighter side of things. When I was going through a hard time I had to always keep telling myself that things would get better. I had to stay positive, and not let negativity take over my life which could've been very easy to let happen at the time. Negativity is a very heavy thing to carry around with you, it does nothing but tear you apart and make you just wanna give up, so at the age of 8 I decided that I wasn't going to let the weight of…

    Happiness is a Choice

Our emotions play a huge part in our daily life; we can control and alter these feelings to our liking or let it flow passionately and freely through our veins. These daily tasks that we must partake may fluctuate our feelings and determines the level of happiness that we display. However, there is one question that we must always ask ourselves, can we control this force or will we let this force get the better of us? Will we succumb to pain and misery that everyday errands bestow upon us or can we rise above the threshold and control our own destiny? As strangely as it sounds, I believe that our happiness is not determined by the events that an individual faces, but rather the integrity and willfulness of that person. An individual can choose to be happy regardless of the negative impact that person may face simply because of that person’s determination. From one perspective, a pessimistic person may find a dull day to be dreadful and depressing, but from an optimistic person’s point of view, it may give that person an opportunity to seek out new goals. Life is treacherous game, you can either mourn every time there’s a misstep or you can play it with a positive attitude regardless of the outcome. An individual’s happiness is not determined by fate, it is…

I relaxed in the living room of my parent’s two-story colonial home watching the football game and playing games with my siblings, the mouth-watering smell of a homemade Thanksgiving dinner fills the air. Every room in the house was intoxicated with this sensationally delicious Thanksgiving aroma. When dinner is called upon, the shuffling footsteps of my famine family can be heard miles from the house. As we all gather around the long rectangular oak wood table, covered in a crème colored cloth, a sudden warm, content feeling is felt. The lighting was dim, but the presence of each other’s faces light up the dining room.…

    2014 goals

One of my biggest down sets in 2013 was that I was very negative about every single thing that had crossed my path. I would always get extremely stressed out about homework, soccer, and life situations in general. I could not see things in a positive light no matter how many lectures my parents gave me about life being too short to stress about that small part of my life. I realized then that my parents were right. Life is too short to stress and be negative all the time. I decided that I would make 2014 a year of happiness and positive energy. I wanted to leave all the stresses of 2013 in the past and that is exactly what I did. The something that has changed within me is that I realized only awful things come out of being negative and stressed out. I refuse to feel like I have failed myself every day. I refuse to continue treating the people I love most around me like they were idiots when all they wanted to do was help me. This goal is probably one of my biggest goals I have this year, and it’s also my most important one. In order to stop being negative about everything, I try and find the good in the bad and I reverse my attitude on the situations I encounter, or might encounter in the future. I plan to keep my attitude positive no matter how tough it gets. I know I will possibly have bad days and just feel horrible but I won’t take it out on the people around me like I used to.…

1/ Change the way we think: Our thoughts create our feelings and attitudes which, in turn, dictate every actions we take in life. If we have negative thoughts, it tends to control our feelings and subsequently our actions which would come out negative also. When we could start taking control over our negative thoughts, then it will leads us powerfully to control our emotions. Taking control of our thoughts and emotion require a lot practice and self-discipline before we could see some positive outcome. 2/ Spend less time with negative people: We all would know several people in our life who moan and complain about life. They aren't bad people, but they have chosen to see the negative side of everything. Being around them can make us feel saddened and discouraged. Thus, we should try by changing the subject or gently challenging their negative points of view with our positive one. If you are a good advocate, you are not only able to change yourself positively and productively, but you may also be able to give a positive influence in return back to them too. 3/ Never wallow in the past: Dwelling over the past is just a great pain and it won't help us get it back at all. So, learn from the past, let it go, forgive yourself, change, and move on. Focus on the here-and-now, what you need and what could benefit your life today. Remember that our lives are meant to be lived forwards, not backwards. If anyone could implement these three easy steps, s/he will soon be on the way to living, not only a more positive and happier life, but also a successful life. Successful people are mindful to not indulge in negative thinking, socializing with negative people nor focusing on the…
