My New Year's Resolution to be a Better Student

My New Year's Resolution My New Year's Resolution is to become a better student. I will become a better student by studying more after school. I will also pay attention in class to make sure I understand what the teacher is teaching. Another way I will become a better student is I will do my homework so I can get practice on what we learned in class that day. Becoming a better student and getting better grades will make my parents happy and will open up the door to success in the future. Studying more is a major way to become a better student. I will study for tests harder this year so I can get better grades. Studying harder will help me understand the material and will help me retain knowledge throughout the year. Studying harder will show my parents and my teachers that I am determined to get better grades for the rest of the year. Paying attention is key in becoming a better student. By paying attention I will be able to understand what the teacher is teaching. If I do not pay attention I would be lost in class and would not know what the teacher was teaching. Paying attention in class will lead to better grades on tests and quizzes. Doing my homework will give me practice on what I learned in class. Doing my homework will help me understand what we have to do it will show me if I understand the lesson well or if I have to ask the teacher questions so I understand it better. Doing my homework will also improve my grades because I would be getting the points I don't usually get on homework assignments. Hopefully I will be able to achieve my New Year's Resolution of a better student. I will do this by paying attention in class, doing my homework, and studying more often.
