My Paws
To this day I still think about the one and only person who has a grudge with me. It has been ten years since I met him and still do not know why he still has one with me. Every time I see him he acts like a different person around me, like I was dead to him. The thing that might've started it all was on a Friday night. I was in 7th grade and I was sitting with my friends at a high school basketball game. Our middle school student section sat right behind the high school’s. My mom was only a few rows away from me and she texted me. The clock was winding down to half time and she asked if I was hungry and wanted a snack. I rushed over there to grab a opened package of skittles. At the time, I didn't know they were opened, she put the opened …show more content…

You learned about sport injuries, and how to treat them, news about college and pro sports and the athletes, and played games. Mr. Lane was my paws teacher. We were lined up ready to play a game and he was separating the groups. I don't know how but I was the second to last one in the line, where I knew right there he was going to talk to me. He also said I need to own up and take responsibility for my mistakes. I nodded my head and acted like I was interested in what he had to say, after that I went over to my team and acted like nothing ever happened. Thinking back on the painful memory. It only happened a mere one and a half decades ago: surely he wouldn’t remember me? I learned a lot on that day when the sun decided to frown all day long even as we stood outside that block of flats. At least I can now truly say that I was sorry for what I did. I believe that God will answer my prayers and forgive me for all I have done.…

Sixth grade, the first year in the new middle school building. It was about the third week into school and a teacher came up to me and asked me to watch over this kid named Justin. (He was different from everyone else, he had a birth-defect.) I said sure, why not, he seems to be nice. He only had one friend, and that one friend I wouldn't say was a good one. Later that week I was called into the disciplinarian's office, her name was Mrs. Landry. She was the seventh grade Social Studies teacher. So wanted me to tell her everything that happened, I didn't what to tell her,…
