I know there was a great reason you made my sister and I share a room in the first place, and there are a few reasons of why you still want us to share the room like we used to when we were kids. The most common reason is that I have never slept alone in a room and I might feel scared. Having my own room might be helpful for college. There is a 50% chance that I will go to college somewhere away and if I start sleeping in my own room, without anyone, it will be easier for me to adjust in college. Not only that, this might also teach me skills like cleaning up after myself and not depending on my sister to do half of the work, so that I won’t have to do all of it. My own room will also make me stronger, if something happens at night I should know how to call someone or what to do. This will also make me a lot more independent and I will start doing my own work like cleaning my closet, room, and doing laundry by myself. As a result, these skills will help me not only in college but for my whole
