In class and in the book “Writing about Writing” we discussed threshold concepts such as how the invention of the writing is based off all of the authors past and present experiences. Often time some practice and training can still be of assistance, but for most we communicate everyday through words already. Good writers are often specific in what they do. Writers give specific details about a specific subject they choose to write about. Good writers are usually well educated, and being organized is important. Writers have to constantly make critical decisions on what or what not to include in their work. Good writers need to be decisive
Good writing is easy to follow, which means it is usually well organized. It satisfies the readers want and also conveys the writer’s purpose. A reader chooses to read something, looking to get something out of it. A writer writes somethings looking for the reader to take something out of it. I think good, successful writing matches the readers needs with the writers wants. Good writing conveys either emotion, an idea or both. It is important that the writing is enlightening to the reader in some way, and does not waste anybody’s
