Hi, I'm Ren. I've been alive for 14 years now, and I finally have my own “violin”. I'm very excited about this, and generally excited by anything else that falls into the "cute" or "cozy" categories. I learned to play recorder when I was twelve from my teacher named Ricson who taught me and my classmate how to play the recorder. I like quilts. But that's probably because I'm always freezing cold. I LOVE Isabel. That's where I live, when I'm lucky enough to be there. I love the town so much, I sometimes feel like I should just roll the windows down in our car (nicknamed the Tuc-son. Because it's a Tucson) and scream "I LOVE THIS TOWN" loudly out the windows. That wouldn't be weird, right? Every time I try and wink at someone, I mess it up and…

My mother gave me the first name Samantha, after her favorite vindictive soap opera character, Samantha Brady, from The Days of our Lives. Little did I know at that moment I was going to be sentenced to live with seven other siblings before I even turned 20. The worst part is estrogen flows through five of them. My mother is a Forensic Scientist and my father is a Physician’s Assistant in the U.S. Army. They make me very proud to be a part of a family that serves to keep this country free. I have lived in Germany, Texas, Missouri,…

No family is perfect and they will go through things, but it’s the love that keeps them together. Family traditions and cultural contribute to an individual self- identity because people who have knowledge of their family history are well-adjusted. Some people may disagree that family history is not shared and valued among individual family members. Twin Sister Shannon

I’d like to begin by saying that it’s a lot harder to write about yourself than you think. Last night when I typed this, it took me longer than it probably should have. But that might just be me. Anyways, I’ll start out with when I was born. My twin sister Shannon and I were born at the Atlantic City Medical Center on Thursday, January 28th, 1999. Shannon and I are fraternal twins, and most people that we meet never believe us when we tell them we’re twins. She has curly hair and blue eyes, and looks nothing like me. We are exactly thirty eight minutes apart. We literally do and share everything together, which can be kind of annoying sometimes, but I don’t really mind. I also have 3 other sisters. The oldest, Katie is 19, going on 20 on September 27th. She is going into her second year at college. She transferred from Liberty University to Stockton College this year. My second oldest sister, Emily is 18. She just went into her first year of college at Christopher Newport University in Virginia. The youngest of my family is Julia, who is 10 and will be turning 11 soon; which is crazy because it seems like just yesterday she was a baby. Then there are my parents, Marilyn and Phil, who I love very much and are always there for me. We’ve all been living in Swainton since 1999. After Shannon and I were born, we lived in Sea Aisle for 6 months while our house was being built. My sisters and I have gone to Middle Township our whole lives. I think the best part about our school is that there are so many different activities and clubs to do. I also like that we have a dress code rather than a uniform because that gives everyone a chance to express themselves. The worst part is…

My house is a villa near the sea because my parents like sea, and from my bedroom you can see the best view of the sea. It seems to me that toward evening, the sea is the most beautiful, and usually at that time I just sit down near the window and enjoy the scene. I have a sister called Rosely, she is one year older than me. Our personalities are quite similar, so we are very good friends, and we keep no secrets from each other. Our family likes to travel, but this year my parents are busy, and Rosely has a lot of homework. My parents said that I am already a teenager so they let me to go to Fiji by myself .
