My most memorable trip is when I went to Florida during the summer of 2004. The trip consisted of my mom, my stepdad, my two sisters, and me. We woke up at five o’clock in the morning to hit the road so we could beat the traffic. The ride was very long and boring but it was all worth it when I set my eyes on the ocean. At that moment, I was filled with joy and happiness and I could not wait for the fun to begin. As soon as I stepped out of the car, I knew this vacation would be one to remember. The first reason why this is my most memorable trip is because of the beach itself. It was so peaceful and the ocean was so blue and beautiful. I found a lot of seashells in different shapes and sizes. I also saw some jellyfish and crabs. I stayed on the beach the whole day and watched the sun set. I bought some cool souvenirs, and I got my grandparents a gift to bring back to them in Georgia. While shopping, I went into a store that had real, live bears and baby alligators. I got to feed the bears apples and I also got to hold one of the gators and have my picture taken. The third and final reason I think this trip is my most memorable is because of the
