My Writing Process Reflection

I believe that I wrote the narrative well. I was able to successfully draft my ideas, review and revise them, rewrite my draft into something publishable, edited my work to put the finishing touches on it, and finally reread my finishing product. Although I did not collaborate with any one and made them critique my work during my writing process I did use someone to bounce ideas off of because I was unsure of what I should write about. This social aspect of the writing process is definitely helpful for those with writers block. Although the audience of my piece was intended for one person my writing is clear enough to be understood by a wide-range of people and can be accessed through many technological mediums. In my writing I utilized pathos
as a rhetorical strategy to allow the reader to emotionally connect to my experience and then present the important role that technology played in it. The overall tone of the piece shifts from a somber to more hopeful tone by the end of the narrative. Also my utilization of a quote at the beginning of my narrative served to grab the audiences attention as well as give them a glimpse of what my narrative was really about.
