Ever since I was three years old I have been on a four-wheeler, at that time I was riding around with my dad but ever since I can remember I’ve been addicted. Riding four wheelers has always been my go to thing weather it was just around the house, out with friends or family on a trail ride or out at the motocross track racing or practicing. When I was four I got my first four-wheeler and I was hooked, I would ride everyday when I had a second of free time and would usually go ride somewhere on the weekends with my parents. My mom and my dad both love to ride and we all had our own four-wheeler we would ride together. Up till I was about twelve I would …show more content…
It was the happiest and at the same time it was one of the scariest moments of my life. When I was up on the gate for my first gate drop ever I was absolutely terrified, because when that gate dropped we would all be taking off to one small turn and the fear of crashing was racing through my mind. Racing motocross is definitely one of the most dangerous thrill seeking sports out there and I’m madly in love it. I raced at local tracks for about a year and a half and I actually did really well. Racing taught me that, yes, you are racing to win but if you aren’t out there on that track then everyone there is part of your racing family and if you have the chance to help someone else out then you better take it because you never know when you might be the one needing help. Racing AMA ATV National motocross was a true blessing that many racers will never get the chance to experience and was one of the lucky ones that could. Without the support of my parents there is no way I would have been able to do any of this. Racing is a very expensive sport and very dangerous, without my parents there to back me up this would’ve never happened and all they ever wanted was to make me happy and to see me come off the track alive. I will never forget the feeling of wining my first national race and seeing the look on my dads face when I was up on that podium. Motocross has had a huge impact on my life and it all dates back to when I was three riding around the farm on my dads lap checking the
