Introduction

1.1. Introduction

Bank is the lifeblood of an economy to keep the wheels moving forward and to play the pivotal role in the economic development of the country. The present economic state of Bangladesh demands immediate development of the financial institutions. Banking sector has lot of areas to improve upon. One of the measures to improve this condition is to introduce tailor made professional programs that are designed to develop the managerial efficiency.
In Bangladesh, banking is the second largest industry where a very good number of employees are working. Banking is the backbone of national economy. All sorts of economic & financial activities revolve round the exist of the bank.
NBL is one of the most flourishing banks of Bangladesh with wide growth opportunities in the organization.
Customer service is the vital for the long-term success of the company. Even the service strategies are not so good at the first time; it will be solved by well-designed unconditional service guarantees.

1.2. About the Report

The report is on “General Banking of National Bank Limited”. I studied on this topic because I was assigned to know about all the section under the general banking wing of the branch.,I have presented the company in details so that the report presents the whole company, its activities, goals and objectives and its commitment towards the society. In the learning part it is been discussed that what I have studied while I worked in the bank. I have discussed the departmental activities that I have observed while working. I have presented all the functions of each department. I have presented the details view of activities of the general banking wing of the bank.

Actually, I set some well-defined objectives for my study on this topic. Then following some specific methodology and analysis method I have worked out some findings of the study and recommended for the problems that had
