Nietzsche's Genealogy Of Humanity Vs. Slave Morality

In Nietzsche’s Genealogy of Morals, Nietzsche states two essential types of morality, master morality and slave morality. Master morality bases its concepts off of good and bad while slave morality bases its concepts off of good and evil. Despite the fact that master morality and slave morality use good in both of their concepts, the two have completely different connotations for the word “good”. To begin, the term good for master morality can be connected and is equivalent to the word “noble” and “nobility”. At the time, noble was a term used in the aristocracy, especially for the heroic warriors that fought in wars at the time. This, meaning that the term “good” for master mortality can be linked to war. On the other hand, the term “good” for slave morality has a totally different meaning.
Many may say that a good person is generous, honest, humble and respectful individual, which is all correct. All those terms are connected to Christian morality, which is usually regarding others and community focused. For master morality the term good constituent’s nobles while for slave morality the term good constituents commoner and slaves. Master moralities pro-values consist of honor and ambition, reveling in the instinct, power, strength, activity, war, adventure and self-love, while pro-values for slave mortality is just simply Christian morality and that the community comes first. Similarly, the term bad for master morality and the term evil for slave morality have opposite meanings of each other.
