The article “Night Pilot” is a profile about the work Rosalind Cartwright did in regards to dream research. The beginning of the article is about how Cartwright used her dreams to make an important life decision. She couldn't decide on whether to play it safe and remain a professor at a University, or take a position as a leader in the psychology department at medical school that would be exciting, but could also be very frustrating. While most people do not realize the importance of their dreams, Cartwright does, and helped her decide to make the job switch. Sitting here writing this paper, I can only think of one dream. Due to my ignorance on the topic, I use to believe that I didn’t dream most nights. Now I know that I am dreaming, but am not remembering them. My dream started as I was running around the neighborhood like I normally do, and I was about a quarter of a mile away from my house. As I was running, I observed a car with two occupants pass me, that had already passed me a few minutes ago. Then when I saw the car approaching me for a third time, I knew something wasn't right. The car stopped right in my path and two men rushed out of the car and ran towards be from both directions. Instead of trying to avoid them both, I ran directly at one of them and pushed them while I ran through him. I then sprinted into the woods right off the street, where there are paths. I was sprinting down the path, so I could make it to my house from the other side. As I got to an intersection of another path, I was alarmed that the other man was there waiting for me. But was looking the other direction. So I kept running, punched him in the neck, and kept running. Then, I woke
