The Nuremberg trials consisted of multiple cases in Nuremberg, Germany were Nazi officials and other high ranking individuals were indicted on crimes against humanity, crimes against peace and genocide,(History.com Staff, 2010) which were newly coined terms. At the time of the trials there was no law aganist war, in a sense the Nuremberg trial invented crimes inorder for individuals to be sentenced. BBC History caterogories the Nuremberg Trials as “ the first international war crimes trial”, as a result of Adolf Hilter’s attempt to rebuild and cleanse the city and the connection to the holocaust brought upon by Adolf Hitler. Some historians believe that the same aggression and persistence that the Nazi’s showed the Jewish commmunity by sentencing death and imprisonment could be seen throughout the Nuremberg trials. difficult to pin anything significant on anyone present, which begs the quesion is this fair, are human right being effected. This week’s theme of consequentalism acan be seen throughout the Nurember Trials and the fact that Adolf Hitler would his followers aimed to promote the survival non-Jewish people who in the eyes of Nazi’s reigned supreme and with the removal of Jews, you could prevent, avoid and disregard any consequences because the Nazi party was supreme. The consequentialism ideology allows individuals to agree while disagreing about outcomes regardless of the consequence being good or bad. Adolf Hilter and the Nazi party may have felt that it was there duty and diligence to produce the greatest good for his people, the non jewish community. Ultiamelty, consequentailism seems to be an open ended model which moves depending on politcical and or military precendence and
