To be more direct and specific, Nursing promotes and educate individuals of all ages, families, groups and communities, sick or even the well. Promoting health through educational information is a fundamental aspect of health care and it is indeed paramount.

The objective of management care is to ensure that care afforded to patient is cohesive. It is the nurse responsibility to coordinate care provided by various players to ensure that all the needs of the patient are being met. The various players entail both professionals and non-professionals.
Other than promoting health and providing care which defines nursing. Nurses also take on a lot more roles. Some of these roles are Patient Advocate, Communicator and Decision Maker.
As patient advocate it is said to be one of the main if not the most important role of nursing. This role entails protecting the rights and what is best medically for the patient. For instance when a patient is sick and is unable to act as they normally would. Thus, it is the responsibility of the nurse to determine what a patient wants.
Communication is always key no matter what. Nurses play the role of a communicator which is important in the health care system and can improve outcomes in the health care environment. A nurse has the responsibility of devising the best strategies for communication to the patient as well as patient family members and other health care
