in the best possible way.
The greatest challenge in most nursing homes is the attainment of proper care due to lack of interest by the caretakers for the elderly. According to Blaschke, Freddolino, and Mullen (2009), most old people are skeptical about nursing homes because they feel they are normally taken there to die. The perception that they are no longer needed in the society is caused by the lack of proper care in the nursing home. These issues thus lead to dissatisfaction among the potential clients. Blaschke et al. (2009) further propose that the integration of technological approaches in the nursing home can significantly transform service delivery for the clients.
Most caretakers are impassionate about catering for the age due to lack of proper training or proper compensation. Similarly, most nursing home owners hire unqualified caretakers because the demand a lower pay, however, they fail to provide the services as per the requirements. Consequently, most customers within their care lack the appropriate care they deserve or have paid for. According to the WHO (2008), the high number of falls within nursing homes is an indication that most of these homes lack the avenue to provide adequate care. Most nursing homes lack the avenue to provide proper care due to the lack of the necessary facilities and the manpower required to provide adequate care to the aged.
The development of a high-quality facility facilitates an effective approach for the establishment of a reliable platform for addressing the needs of the aged. According to Cohen (2006), the modern developments have neglected the ageing, which illustrates a great niche, which can be used to address the current need providing a viable business opportunity. The company is willing to transform the current service delivery process by critically understanding the current gap and utilizing the reliable strategic measures to ensure that the clients are satisfied with the quality of service.
SWOT Analysis
The institution is likely to succeed because it has the necessary strength to undertake the roles and responsibilities in a multidimensional framework.
Very few institutions are likely to meet the desired qualities of a nursing home. These attributes provides a viable framework upon which the organization is likely to uphold a reliable performance within the organization. Possible weaknesses for the company include the inability by the company to obtain qualified staff members. Qualified caretakers are expensive to get and to hire, which means the institution may be required to settle for semi-skilled caretakers. The institution has a wide range of opportunities because the industry still remains unexploited. The company is determined to uphold the necessary requirements, which places the institution in the appropriate position for advancement. There are no perceivable threats for the company, however, the company must attain significantly and relatively high standards to attract a reliable client …show more content…

Alternative Course of Action
The best course of action in this case is to improve the number of employees for the institution to ensure that the ageing people within the nursing home have the appropriate care and company. Providing the required facilities and the adequate caretakers will provide the institution with an upper hand in ensuring that the institution provides adequate care to the clients. The current drawback is the realization that the company needs to be properly equipped with the necessary requirements in a multidisciplinary approach. According to Baldassar (2007), the nursing home must provide the right conditions to ensure that the old people lead a normal life at the institution. The institution is established based on the logic of providing care and company to the aged without compromising the quality of proper care.
Equipping the full-service assisted living facility with the necessary resources as well as the manpower will attract a larger market from the old people that are in need of proper and quality care. The institution should address the quality of service delivery rather than to reduce the cost of service. According to Smith and Baughman (2007), most people are will to pay a fortune to ensure they obtain quality services. Utilizing this assertion will ensure that the institution is properly equipped with the most appropriate environment.
Recommendations and Conclusion The facility home has a significant opportunity to advance its service delivery framework by increasing the number of qualified caretakers and improving the facilities.
The facility can also establish a training framework to constantly update its employees with the best frameworks for the establishment of a reliable development approach. Considering that there is a high demand for quality service delivery, the organization stands to attain a viable business hub in a highly competitive in a field where institutions have failed to perform effectively.
