One of the requirements necessary in accessing a nursing home care is that one must be in need of 24-hour care each day. This is because the nursing home is designed for people who do not need to be admitted in a hospital, and at the same time cannot be cared for at home (Yee-Melichar, Boyle & Flores, 2011).
