O brother
O Brother Where Art Thou? Is the best adaptation of The Odyssey. Both tell of a daring journey to get home to their wives. O Brother Where art thou? Is the best adaption because, their journey matches, plots compare, and they have a similar theme.
There are many similar, hero’s journey, stages that match The Odyssey from O Brother Where Art Thou?.In the call to the adventure stage, both are quickly made to start their journey. Both The Odyssey from O Brother Where Art Thou? have very similar tests, allies, and enemies. Odysseus and Ulysses both meet a mentor that gives them great advice. They are not only similar journey, also similar plots.
Since O
Brother Where Art Thou? is an adaption their plots really have to be similar. It is the same story just modified to be funny. There are three girls that are singing that distract the boys from their task, and there are sirens that do the same in The Odyssey . In the end of their journey they finally reach their wives.
