The best golf course in the Inland Empire based on value, condition, course layout, and staff courteousness is Oak Quarry Golf Club (a.k.a. "The Rock"). If you have never played this course, try and find someone who has and I bet you'll find both positive feedback and them sharing memorable shots and experiences. At $65 during the week, you'll be hard pressed to find something with as much as they offer for a better value. Home of the "Best Par 3 in California" according to their sources, hole #14, (a.k.a. Spinal Slide) is just one of the many truly phenomenal holes at this fantastic facility. Although the staff and layout of this course is a notch below Oak Quarry, this golf course is an extremely great value and seems to always be in great shape. With midweek rates in the $45 range, it makes for a round worthy of our current economic status and always sees a large amount of play. The layout is fun, but nowhere near as challenging as "The Rock", unless you play in the steady afternoon wind. The fairways are generous and the overall flat nature of this course makes for an easy walk and a fun day regardless of how you strike the golf ball, as the penalties appear less severe here.
