By witnessing an occupational therapy it allowed me to understand how important the career was in order to help individuals. Without the help of the therapist, my family wouldn't have correctly recovered from the accident. My mother was the most injured from everyone and without that help of the therapist my mother would have been placed on disability, unable to work or provide for my family. I remember speaking to my mother about the decision to becoming an occupational therapist, she was concerned about the salary of the career , however, the salary wasn't an importance to me . All I cared about was helping others and changing lives for the better. After further research, I realized that the salary of a occupational therapist was extremely high and allows me schedule my appointments while work in many different locations. The only degrees needed to become an occupational therapist are BA or BS and a master’s. Therefore, I believe that occupational therapy ended up becoming the most suitable
