EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
With the breakthrough of ‘Globalization’ in this modern era, the need for OD and HR managers to understand the importance of integrating as one to maintain organization’s competitive edge has become an inevitable task. The challenge is exacerbated by the increasing complexity of the work environment and the fast changing advancements of technology. Proper studying and understanding is needed and the managers need to take up this challenge seriously in order for the organization to perform well.
The researcher has studied the specified case and has attempted to provide a critical analysis and emphasis on the importance of the topic. In doing so, the report is segmented into subdivisions to guide the reader throughout the discussion. Firstly, there is an introduction of the integration of HR and OD, followed by key headings which the researcher deems important to highlight the theory behind the needs for integrating OD and HR in an organization.
