Odysseus 'Struggle In The Sirens And Ulysses'

On Odysseus’ way back home he had to go through many obstacles, the painting The Sirens and Ulysses by William Etty, shows his struggles through the Sirens. Odysseus already found out from Calypso that he was going to live, and go home no matter what happened, so when he found out that they were going by the Sirens, he had to listen. The Sirens usually kill people with how much knowledge they talk. Sense he was already going to live, he decided that it was a good idea to listen. He made everyone else put earwax in their ears so they would not know what the Sirens were saying. Odysseus was tied up to a pole because if he was not, he would have struggled way more than he did. The men still had to hold him down, but it was easier because he was
