OJ Simpson
O.J. Simpson trail

My personal opinion in the OJ Simpson trail is that he was guilty. I believe that OJ was guilty of the two murders of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman in 1994. There are many different things that convinced me that OJ did in fact commit the murders. The number one thing that got me was that fact that there was so much of OJ’s DNA all over the crime scene. Also, not only was OJ’s blood over the crime scene there was blood at his home as well as on his ford bronco just proving to me that he was definitely there at the time of the murders. OJ was also know to have a violent past involving his ex wife Nicole Brown Simpson I think OJ saw her with another man (Ronald Goldman) and it pushed him over the edge to commit the murders. From my experience involved with the San Diego Police Department I have seen that only the people who are guilty will run from you. So when we saw in the video OJ Simpson in the famous bronco purist with LAPD, it was icing on the cake for me in regards to him being guilty. I believe with the overwhelming evidence against OJ that he truly was guilty of committing the murders. Its simple to me, if your not guilty don’t run.

I would now like to look at the opposing side, those that feel police corruption is not present in Steven Avery’s case, or in the United States as a whole. The first article, from ABC News, is entitled Making a Murderer': Is Steven Avery Guilty? A Deeper Look Into Netflix Series. In this article, Ken Kratz, the prosecutor of the case, is interviewed. He discusses that the Netflix documentary leaves out several key pieces of evidence, which prove Steven and Brendan are guilty. The article makes a point in stating that Ken is now a defense attorney. Ken states that the filmmakers left out two key pieces of evidence: the car’s hood latch and the phone calls. DNA from sweat was found on the hood latch of Teresa’s car, and upon testing matched Steven Avery.…

I think O.J.Simpson is guilty. I think he was lucky and everyone knew him for football but people that are known should not be treated any differently or in anyway that can benefit them. “Once I present the case to the jury I totally accept their verdict. I'm at peace with either of the two verdicts that they could have rendered. They really worked hard on this. I don't look at it as a compromise. I think the evidence would have supported either verdict, second-degree murder or not guilty by reason of insanity. That's what juries are for.”(Peter Berger)…

Although more than most of the evidence could have put Mr. Simpson in prison for the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman if it had been found to be creditable, the fact that the investigation and collection were so splotchy and unorganized, with evidence being misplaced or lost and entered months later, notes that didn’t match up, and blood evidence that wasn’t properly packaged and secured by procedure. Just because Common sense tells us by looking at the abundance of evidence brought forward otherwise, for…

Just because someone is believed to be guilty doesn’t mean they are guilty. The Zimmerman versus Martin case has been a lingering case for over 4 years now since it has happened. George Zimmerman, in a lot of eyes, is guilty. There are a few things that need to be considered before this can be concluded: there is no hard evidence proving that Zimmerman had intention to murder Martin, emotions opinions are not a sufficient source against the case, and neither parties have an exceeding criminal background.…

In Lord of The Flies by William Golding, A Tale of Two Cites by Charles Dickens, and Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer people in power use their position to corrupt others. This suggests people should be mindful who they put in power. In these novels the authors show that no matter what age, race, social status, or even gender a person is, if given some-kind of power and competition they have the potential to become corrupt. Also, these three writings demonstrate that fear gives the ability to control people or a person.…

I personally believe that even though it is almost one hundred years since this trial ended, we as American's still have not moved past using race, religion, or social status in our justice system. If you look into the OJ Simpson trial the exact same thing was happening. Everyone was focused on the fact that he was African American and famous. That should not have been a factor in his case or in Sacco and Vanzetti's case. They were innocent. If someone believes they are guilty, they are too focused on the lies that were cleared, the witnesses that were too far away to see, and the jury and prosecutors that were prejudiced against Italian…
