They have introduced about ten processes. These ten processes are design of goods and services, quality, process strategy, location, layout, human resources, supply chain management, inventory, scheduling, maintenance. In my own opinion, each of the process is OM techniques, because each process has to make sure everything is right , there aren’t too many mistakes when all the processes are working. So the ten processes are all using in OM techniques. The relation between the video and the course, if the company make each process with the OM techniques, it can realize the company goal, and also make good use of the resources. Costumer and in need of market will be sufficed if each producing process work in the an rigorous organizing, planning, controlling, producing. So learning how to make the good OM techniques will be the most important for the course if we have our own company or being the manger of the company.
