Frito Lay Canada is a member of PepsiCo Incorporation, the company is the largest snack food manufacturer in Canada with six plants across the country. There are about 50 thousand employees of the company all over the world, the mission of Frito Lay is that “creating the high-quality snacks our fans deserve, while caring for our people, communities and the environment we share” (Our Mission).
To maintain the position of the company in the market and to accomplish the mission, the company decided to launch new product in the next few months. As the results of the market research study that company has conducted, the new product will be a kind of potato chips with natural fruit salad flavor and aim to Baby Boomers.

The product’s name: Lay 's®Fruit Salad Chips
The major reason to make new chips product is that fresh fruit is the most favorite flavor for snack of Baby Boomers in Canada recently and still going up in the future, according to the research from NDP Group. (Jeewani Fernando, 2011)
