Oral Exam: my reading portfolio

Hello everybody,

Today i’m gonna tell you something more about my reading portfolio.
This is the front of my reading portfolio. It’s got three pictures on it. I’ve chosen this pictures because i love the films but i love the books even more. A lot of people read the book first and watch the film later but I prefer the other way. I love to watch a film and read the after it. On that way you can imagine some characters like Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen or Rupert Grint as Ron Weasly. And in the book are more details so you can be surprised. And if you have red the book and then go to the cinema you know what’s going to happen.
What I like to read are popular books (most of the time it is a hype) like the harry potter series, then twilight and now the hunger games. I also prefer more books of one subject, like in the twilight saga there are 4 books, in the hunger games series, three books and in the harry potter series even 7 books.
My favourite book of the hunger games trilogy is catching fire, it’s the second book and the film is coming out the 14th of November, my favourite book of the twilight saga is Eclipse and from the Harry Potter series the prisoner of Azkaban. And if you like the Harry Potter series, I advice you to go to the Harry Potter studios in London, it’s what they say, a magical world.

Book report 1:

With book report one I’ve chosen a book from the book list, carry on Jeeves from P.G. Wodehouse.

The story is about Betram Wooster and his servant Jeeves. Bertram had just let a servant go for stealing. The next day Jeeves came into his life. Bertram was first unsure about Jeeves, but later he realized that he was a necessity that no gentleman should be without. Later in the story Bertram gets into trouble because his fianccee, Florence, asks him to steal a book.

It wasn’t my favourite book, I thought it was really difficult to understand and it also is a very old book. Some words are very old. The original

Thomas Paine’s “Common Sense” happens to be one of if not the most influential and motivational works of the year 1776 at the beginning of the American Revolution. Not only did it present a viable argument against the need for reconciliation with Great Britain and give a multitude of reasons for the need to depart from the rule of the British monarchy, but it also brought on an increasing sentiment for revolution amongst the colonies and inspired the writing of the Declaration of Independence. This essay will outline the most relevant argument made in Paine’s literary work that lead to its popularity amongst the British colonists, and how its influence lead to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. It will also give the opposing views of the many colonists from North America and the Caribbean who remained loyal to the British Empire, and give a sound counter-argument against the ideas of “Common Sense” and the need for a revolution and a Declaration of Independence.…
