1.0 INTRODUCTION

The topic that been selected by our group is Team Effectiveness Model. The reason we choose this topic because without we realize, we also practice teamwork in our daily life. Furthermore, our video also related about teamwork and it show that how the importance of teamwork is to ensure the task given can be finish successfully. A team is a small number of people with complementary skills who are committed to a common purpose, performance goals, and approach for which they hold themselves mutually accountable.

Firstly, team is established to study specific problem and recommend solution. These teams typically work with target completion date and disband once their purpose has been fulfilled. Members of these teams must be learn quickly how to work well together, accomplish the assigned task and make good action recommendations for follow-up work by other people. Besides that, there are functional groups and work units that perform ongoing tasks. Members of these teams must have good long-term working relationships with one another, solid operating systems and the external support needed to achieve effectiveness over a sustained period. They also need energy to keep up the pace and meet the day-to-day challenges of sustained high performance. A team is effective when it benefits the organization, its members and its own survival. First, most team exist to serve some organizational purpose, so effectiveness is partly measured by the achievement of those objectives. Second, a team’s
