MERCY ASCOT HOSPITAL
Mercy Ascot’s is one among the biggest independent surgical expertness in New Zealand. It consist of 22 operation theatres, a coronary and an intensive care unit. In Auckland we are functioning 3 main sites - in Epsom, in Remuera and in Takapuna. Each day above 600 devoted employees of my organisation are catering incomparable concern to our causalities. We aimed on individualised care to our patients. The success of our organisation lies in the hand of our staffs’ dedication and efficiency. We are glad to be affiliated with Auckland Radiation Oncology and Mercy Radiology. Besides the quality attracts many specialists to this hospital. Moreover the commitment to quality and the single minded approach shoot the recognition of the institution. In addition to these the staffs are willing to provide complex care to those who need it. Here the team provide all kinds of highly specialised services. Here the surgeons are responsible for the planning and implementation of treatments and the care lies in the hands of the hospital teams. In addition to the name of the specific procedure mentioned the patient is provided with the information booklet to read from the room and some forms to fill prior to the admission. The filled forms are send back to the team at least one week before the admission (Mercy Ascot Hospital).

    The Chief of Vascular surgery, Dr. Blauhard, strode confidently down the central corridor of the operating theaters. Passing the open heart surgery rooms and the new hybrid theater he knew that his patient would be going to sleep in room 12, his room. The patient was lucky to have him as her surgeon. He had been vice-chairman of vascular surgery at a major university and had published extensively in his chosen field. He was viewed as a star.
