INTRODUCTION MBA 731 – Organization Behaviour and Theory is a semester course work of three credit hours. It is available to all students taking the MBA programme in the school of Business and Human Resources Management. The course consists of 15 units which cover the concept and theory of organization behaviour. The course guide tells you what MBA 731 is all about, the materials you will be using and how to make use of them. Other information includes the self assessment and tutor-marked questions.

COURSE CONTENT The course content consists of principles and practices of in organization as well as the concepts, scope and contributors to the study of organization behaviour and human relations. COURSE AIMS The aim of this course is to expose you to the concept and practices of organization behaviour. This aim will be achieved by asking a cursory look at: • The principles and practices in organizations • The theory and behaviour in an organization • The concept and nature of people and organizations. OBJECTIVES After giving through this course, you should be able to: • Explain the theory of organization behaviour • State principle of relationship between staff morale and job performance • Explain the principles and practices in organization.
