Transcription is the transfer of information from the order sheet of RNA to the nursing patient care planning and documentation system. Considering the information in the transcription is very vital, there needs to be great care taken. To ensure confidentiality while undertaking transcription, the transcriber can go over the records a second time so that they know if what she has recorded is correct. For others, there is no explanation as they already know the kind of drug that they want. To get a prescription, one will have to go to a hospital, pay for consultation fees; possibly tests will be run that also costs money, and the price of the drug at the hospital pharmacy may also be higher than outside ones. To cut all these expenses, one would prefer to buy OTC drugs if their condition was not severe.
