2. I feel that the assessment made me realize that I have not done enough to practice self-care. For example, I have not spent less time on my technological devices and spend very little time in nature. Additionally, something that never crossed my mind as a way of self-care was engaging in different areas of expressions such as the arts, or theatre. From completing this assessment, I noticed that I make a lot of excuses for not taking part in some methods of self-care with that in mind I hope I can make more of an effort to carry out other types of self-care practices.

The article I read was Overcoming Fear of Failure by Zorka Hereford. In her article, Hereford describes the importance of failure and how many mistakes and failures formed great achievements. Hereford also explains that people have a fear of failure due to not knowing what it will take to succeed, by having unrealistic expectations and by expressing traits of perfectionism. In addition to her explanation of these reasons, the author discusses the methods that can help people overcome their fear of failure. I believe that this article will be very beneficial to my future practice as it provides me with meaningful information and steps to aid me in restraining my overthought and self-criticalness which will also help me throughout my schooling.
