Overview of the band, KAM
Kalin and Myles Hey, my name is mj, and I’m going to introduce 2 singers from the bay, Kalin White and Myles Parrish also known as KAM. Kalin was born on January 4th, he has a loving mother and a little sister. Everyone calls his mom mama Starla, and she had Kalin at a very young age. Myles was born on October 1st, a lot of the fan base calls him YBM (your boy Myles) because of twitter and Instagram. He also has a little brother Jake but they call him JakeeyP because of twitter and Instagram. Jake is their DJ, so he also plays an important role. Myles and Jake also have a very loving supportive mother.
They have their own YouTube channel with many of their own songs. Recently their newest song “Chase Dreams” was released on YouTube along with its video, which has about 24,000 views. They also have a new EP coming out, which is like a mini album, being released on Itunes at midnight on December 2nd. This past summer they went on a tour with Megan and Liz, and it was a huge success. They are hosting the triple HO show for 99.7 on December 3rd. Then they will perform at the Jingle Ball 2013 on December 21st with many other singers.
However their biggest concert is coming up on December 13th, called Crazy For Christmas. It’s not a Christmas concert really, but it’s more of a holiday concert, although they don’t play any Christmas music, it’s all mostly their new songs and some of their old songs. The concert is being held at Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. The concert isn’t by seats it’s a first come first serve sort of thing. Regular tickets add up to about 36 dollars. However they also had VIP tickets, and only 5 platinum tickets. The VIP was also very limited because they were sold out in the first 10 minutes. There are still regular tickets available but they are almost sold out. Kalin, Myles and Jake also have another close friend Tyler Garcia, or Ty. He is the one who shoots them and all of their music videos and is really close with them. Everyone

They formed a band in 2000 with their cousin Matthew. The band claim that their music was influenced equally by their religious upbringing and Jack Daniel's. Brothers Nathan and Caleb originally sang country music and later moved to playing rock and roll. They worked for a brief period of time with label and management group Pistol Creek Productions. They spent their time with this label mainly singing at rodeos. They also were members of the West Tennessee Mass Choir for a short time.[8] Nathan, the eldest of the brothers, graduated from Christian Life Academy (a private school that is now defunct) in Henderson, TN. Caleb dropped out mid-senior year to pursue country music.[citation…

Receiving an acceptance letter from Vanderbilt University gives any student the opportunity of a college experience unlike any other. Is it the social life? Is it the Greek community? How about the Southeastern Conference sports scene? The answer to all of these questions is yes. But I failed to mention what sets Vanderbilt apart from almost any other school in the world: its location in downtown Nashville. Nashville, Tennessee isn’t called “Music City, USA” without reason. From the Grand Ole Opry to the dozens of stages on Broadway, Nashville is the epicenter of country music. Every night of the week, students have the opportunity to walk, bike, or taxi cab down to Broadway to hear some of the most talented country artists in the world. Specifically, The Don Kelley band plays on a weekly basis at Robert’s Western World and is known as one of the elite cover bands in Nashville. After attending their show earlier this year, it was apparent that their talent earned them their reputation. In this paper, I will overview the band, review their live performance, and draw connections between the band and earlier generations of music.…

One thing most people think about concerts are the costs of the tickets or how much money they will spend. If I went the Michigan concert, I would spend less money than I would if I were to go to Indiana. This reason, is because the tickets will be 40% cheaper, and I wouldn’t have to pay for a hotel room. The location of the concert is three hours away, and we would like the road trip away from home, but that…
